As the game goes on, I usually get stronger and more comfortable and have a better feel for what to do. Life is about opportunities. Unfortunately Ronnie was down, so this week I made the most of the opportunity.

I get stronger as the game goes on. I get more confident as the game goes on. I felt I was able to mix up my pitches and keep them off balance somewhat. After that first inning, I felt better on the mound.

This is the ultimate team game, but I make everyone else on my team better by making myself better.

Those of you who have little jackets, if you feel comfortable you can take it off.

What goes down usually comes up

We didn't seem to feel comfortable. That was the feeling I had during the whole game. We couldn't get to our offense. We couldn't get to what we wanted out of the plays we ran. It really wasn't a consistent offense on our part. We were very sloppy.
