As the week wore on, you got close to the girls, and as we left to part our ways, tears just flowed from their eyes. I'm hoping that one day I may read the name of one of the girls or players that was with us in the newspaper maybe winning an NCAA title.

It gave the (American) girls the opportunity to appreciate the game they play here in the U.S.. The U.S. is the world leader in softball, and when you dominate the game as well as the U.S., people look at you and how you do it.

We don?t want to keep these girls in captivity forever. But they also can?t be placed in the wild until scientists are sure they will not spread the virus.

The first quarter our girls did everything right and we were only down by one. After that, for some reason, we just forgot how to play basketball. We stopped playing defense and stopped blocking out. If we had just played four quarters like (the first), it would be a different story.

They never came close to finding the still.
