As we move into the realm of electronic medical records, we're trying to look at the way we do work, and determine how we can create good workflows and a good setting for the patient in an electronic environment.

People want to do something practical, more than just send a check, which we realize is often the most practical thing to do. But it just seems so impersonal. People want to make connections and feel like they're part of something larger than themselves, so getting involved in collecting provisions, tools, toys or whatever, gives us a sense that we are really helping.

This station is woefully inadequate. They should have been starting from something bigger 20 years ago.
