Asia is known for its manufacturing. That's why we want to come to this region.

We believe manufacturing should play a role in our economy. We don't believe Dubai should depend only on services.

Some Asian companies are using Dubai as a logistics hub or a distribution center. We would like to see that grow to a full-fledged manufacturing center.

In Ontario, job losses in manufacturing have accelerated in recent months alongside announced layoffs in the key auto sector. However, Ontario's economy is well diversified and strength in the service sector, which accounts for more than 70% of overall employment and economic activity, should support vehicle sales of about 590,000 units in 2006 - in line with the average of the past two years.

This would be an indication that activity is increasing at more than half the manufacturing firms in the survey, and another sign of growth.

As a person endorsing Coke, I'm comfortable endorsing the product. But if there is a problem on the manufacturing side (of the product), I would certainly like to address it.
