At least one sled dog from the film will probably be at the race. It might be fun for kids to see a real movie-star dog.

My wife also runs a team and my four kids also race.

On any given day, any dog team can be beaten. There will be a lot of good teams there.

Richmond is a great track, and it will be a fun race to watch this week,

High waters will sometimes take the fun things, that can happen with low waters, out of the race. Last year's event was a disaster, as far as weather goes.

Name recognition gets less important as the race goes on. The key candidates are all going to have enough money to get their own name out there. People will know who they are.
