This festival is our way of saying that there are few more rewarding ways to spend time with children than to help them discover the wonders of books and to start them on a journey of pleasure and learning that will last a lifetime.

It's great to be back - I missed it. It was just day three for me, and we're getting better. Ben is making good reads and we need to make some plays for him.

We're absolutely thrilled that this project has come to fruition. The opening day was fantastic and the youngsters are now using the park well.

It felt good. It's still only my third day of practicing and getting a chance to get out here and participate in a live game. It's good to be back.
