At the beginning, I was pretty worried about how it would affect everyone else, about how the American guys and the Canadian guys would handle it. I didn't want anyone thinking that we were talking behind their backs.

He was a young coach just like a young player. You make mistakes. You have to find out what's the best way for you to coach. We have learned a lot from him, and I think he has learned something from us.

Guys tried everything on him. I just thought to myself, 'Maybe I'll surprise him.' I tried the move, and it worked.

We were the ones that found it, which is pretty ridiculous in itself. The authorities, we don't feel they are giving maximum effort.

At the beginning of the year, I think we hit our stride pretty well. But getting down the stretch, teams are keying on certain players and that's something you need to adjust to. I think we struggled with that of late, but there's definitely another level we want to get to and I think we're capable of. That's going to have a big impact on how far we go, and we realize that.
