At this point, there is just a lot of speculation and conjecture.

Most areas of intellectual life have discovered the virtues of speculation, and have embraced them wildly. In academia, speculation is usually dignified as theory.

We'll have more to talk about in a couple of weeks, really. At this point it's all conjecture, but in a few weeks we'll know more about what's possible and what we need more work on.

We're looking at our options for putting an expansion team in St. Louis. We've met with Major League Soccer, had a feasibility study and made other inroads. At this point, we're very serious about it, but it's still in the planning stage and we're not ready to make an official announcement.

The stars are getting the big money.

But that's purely conjecture at this point … a working hypothesis. Everything is on the table until we've gotten more data down.
