At what point do we stop continuing to try? It can be contagious if one or two people a block do it (clean their streets and gutters and trim trees).

You have people who are considering moving to town and they go to the best residential areas and say, 'Is this how they take care of their streets and gutters?'

The appearance of our streets and gutters is getting ridiculous, ... A significant percentage of people are allowing their gutters to be a collection point for leaves, twigs and limbs. I'd like the council to consider how we go in there and start cleaning gutters.

People are contagious.

Keokuk has been a melting pot of many religions and ethnic groups, ... We also have had a unique relationship with the Latter-day Saints. On their way to Salt Lake City, they gathered supplies and stayed here. They were responsible for much of the surveying and work on the streets in our town.
