Basically, the warm spell we've had will continue through Tuesday or Wednesday.

Obviously it's too early to call, but the next system looks to carry greater risk. There's more power to that system, and it will track from the northwest and drop into the area out of the Great Plains. That's a similar path to the one taken by the systems that brought the really severe weather (in early April).

It's a drastic change, that's for sure. We're going to see much colder air in the region.
