Before, if you didn't show up for practice, nothing would happen. Now we know [Slater] will flip out. Basically, we know you're not going to be playing if you don't practice.

The guys that practice with him, we already know that he can do stuff like that.

She's an inspiration for the team. During practice, she showed us what she can do, and we believe in her.

It definitely was a setback, but you've got to play through whatever happens. I was out of practice for like a week-and-a-half. I got out of shape in that week-and-a-half. It's just a lot of little things.

This will be a tough month. We've had a good week of practice.

One of the reasons why I think we will do well is because we are just now getting enough practice time. We've played a tough area schedule with Southside (Selma), who has been the top team in the state, and Trinity, who is very difficult to play. We think we are prepared for this game.
