Before we left the hotel Saturday, the kids had a meeting. They committed themselves to playing hard Saturday night. This is the best team I've had as far as playing together. Everybody knows his role. A lot of these kids never played middle school basketball.

It was definitely a rough night offensively.

I think it's going to be important to remember each night is going to be a tough night. We've got to come into each game with that in mind. There's not going to be any easy games in the state tournament. We're going to have to play hard and, of course, play smart.

Reed just made the shot. We said in the huddle to make sure we knew where he was on the last play. We tried to help on Chad, but he kicked it out and we couldn't recover.

I know it's going to be a big challenge for us.

It was the Battle of Raymond Road down in Moss Point. I hate it came down to both of us playing where one of us had to go home.
