Being brave isn't about having no fear. Being brave isn't even about conquering your fear. To truly be brave you must be willing to protect what is precious to you, even in death.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe.

Without fear there cannot be courage.

Never throw the first punch. If you have to throw the second, try to make sure they don't get up for a third.

Can you lay your life down, so a stranger can live? Can you take what you need, but take less than you give? Could you close every day, without the glory and fame? Could you hold your head high, when no-one knows your name?

The only honorable, desirable kind of fear that shouldn't be feared is the fear of harm on a loved one. It's the kind of fear that leads to self-sacrifice and the kind of fear where you would truly jump in front of a bus to save another.
