Being in front of people is kind of a thrill. You get nervous, but it's fun.

A lot of presidents -- a lot of officers in general -- forget about the membership and don't have contact with them. My promise is to be in touch with them, through letters and phone calls, so it will be more of their organization and not just the officers'.
