Being raised right doesn't mean that we won't make mistakes, it means we'll learn from them

As long as you learn from your mistakes you are guaranteed you won't repeat them.

You don't learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over.

We are all leaves. We can choose to stick to the tree and eventually wither and die, or we can break off, have a helluva ride and land somewhere amazing.
