Being the last game of the night, the guys will be really anxious. Hopefully for us, everyone will come out and play hard and with a lot of energy, and we'll get settled in early.

Monday night is going to be difficult for us. We had our opportunities tonight, but we shot blanks. We went down to our last opportunity and now all we can do is sit back and pray for one more chance to play this season.

They got us to play the kind of game they wanted us to, and anytime a team can do that, they're going to have an advantage.

San Diego State was very, very good that night. And they just seemed to have more energy than us. We never could close the gap. We're not asking for everyone to be patient. We want to win now. But if winning is No. 1 (in the priorities), then continuing to develop the expectations for this program, and the level of effort that is demanded every day, is 1A.

They stopped blitzing which had hurt us all night. They helped us on that final drive.

Fatigue will make a coward of all of us and I'm not going to let that be an excuse. The bottom line is they played better than us for four quarters.
