Beth Garber did very well in the No. 2 spot. Jenny Christen, in the No. 6 spot and her first time on varsity, did very well, winning in two sets. Both were very consistent.

We'd like to have him christen it, and have him take the first ride in it.

We started better this year, but we've still got a ways to go. I didn't see (very good) footwork. We need to work on footwork.

DaVarryl wanted to fight his way to the spot and Wladimir didn't want no part of it. They just wanted everything set up in their favor, knowing going to Germany is not a great thing for any American fighter.
