Bill and Jerry have surrounded me with people I trust.

He's a tough guy and he's aggressive. He's a good, solid football player – and he's young.

It's an evaluation off tape only. We do not call the school or do any investigative work whatsoever. Playing is a huge part of it, but there's no talking to the coach, no seeing the guy on the hoof, no talking to the academic people or the strength coach.

It helps the kids. The ultimate reason we do this is to try to keep the kids in college. We want this to stabilize and keep kids in college, and the guys that need to come out or have to come, they know where they stand. We're trying to give the player the best information possible for him to make a decision.

The (trust) structure removes some of the expansion alternatives that would otherwise be available to a corporation.

I'd trust my own kids with Downing, and I'm sure Andy is going to do great things at UNC. All three of our players going there are going to do well.
