Boston's freeway system is insane. It was clearly designed by a person who had spent his childhood crashing toy trains.

The governor is clearly a passionate person and he's spent every day for the last 20 years being hounded by members of the media and being attacked by Republicans and the question for people who live their life like that is not how come it happened, but how come it doesn't happen more often.

Roads get wider and busier and less friendly to pedestrians. And all of the development based around cars, like big sprawling shopping malls. Everything seems to be designed for the benefit of the automobile and not the benefit of the human being.
