Both Allison and Kate came on strong in consolation matches after playing tough first-round matches.

The other three wrestled good, tough matches and got through the first round. That is so critical. Now we have the butterflies out of our system and the win under our belt. Now we open up the doors tomorrow (Thursday) and see what happens.

My daughter [Kate] didn't even come over for the draw because she said she wasn't here for the first round of the draw, and we drew well. She wouldn't come over today in case she jinxed me.

We like playing those guys. When the singles field is so tough they're usually playing so many matches, then they have to come out and play doubles, it's tough for them. Sometimes they end up just pulling out of the doubles.

If we keep playing like we played tonight, we might mess up and get put out in the first round. It's very frustrating right now.
