Both of them (Katsav and Sharon) confirmed that they were ready to meet Abu Mazen as well without any formal date being finalised.

President Bush speaks of a Palestinian state (with) the June 1967 borders. Sharon is repeating what he said a year ago, the old stuff, the broken record of a long-term interim solution, 40 percent of the West Bank and 70 percent of the Gaza Strip. This will not fly.

We urge Sharon to stay out of our internal affairs.

What we need to do is to see an immediate implementation of the Mitchell recommendations. But above anything else ... we need the Israeli government to join us at the negotiating table.
