Both teams had to make critical plays defensively. Obviously, Kelly Labor's a great player, but they have other great players - Ann Barney and some of those kids. We didn't want to end up in a 1-on-1 situation. We always had players sliding across.

It was a little disconcerting because that happened with our starting group in. But she's a good player, very explosive.

Kelly is a great tester. He always has been. Combines are made for players like him.

It's a unit, and it's critical the unit plays together and understands each other. Sometimes a grunt from one player to the next can tell you something. You have to know when someone is telling you something. It's all a matter of getting to know each other.

Defensively, we didn't give up any big plays. And we got the big plays on offense, ... We're a lot better right now than we were at the same time last season.

There are probably going to be many teams and many players who are going to try and wind Wayne Rooney up. He can handle it. Everyone knows he's a great talent. It's been well documented about his discipline but I don't think there's going to be a problem.
