Brandon really pitched well all game. That first inning his defensive just didn't help him out. That was kind of a wake up call for us. He threw strikes and kept us in the ball game.

I still say it's going to go down to the last week. I have a lot of confidence in this team. They have a lot of experience and their seasoned competitors.

Every game is going to be huge. Every team has their strong points. If you ask me, it's going to go down to the final week.

Central Catholic has earned the respect of all the other teams in this tournament. There was questions about their schedule and them being a Division V school, but they're just as good as any team in the area. They're very well coached and we'll have our hands full.

Runs are going to be at a premium. Every team has two guys they can run out there that can be very good. Defense is definitely going to be key.

We knew this game would have a playoff feel with Central Catholic being undefeated and all the section championships they've won.
