Brownback has been great upfront when he appropriated $2 million for the St. Peter's Waterway Redevelopment project. He recently appropriated funds to begin work on the Bethany Development project.

Brownback has been very instrumental in the development of the St. Peter's Waterway Redevelopment. Diehl has been great for several years in leading her neighborhood in being one of the best in the entire metro. Through her efforts the Strawberry Hill revitalization project has taken place.

When we got there it had affected about 100 yards of the waterway and we were able to stop it and keep it contained before it hit the main Cooper Creek Park,

was just throbbing out there, waiting to be appropriated.

I recently sold a house in Laguna for $3.5 million. It was on about 2,000 square feet of land, maybe a twentieth of an acre, and the house might cost about $500,000 if you wanted to replace it. So the land sold for something like $60 million an acre.
