Budgets are tight and people would rather see the money go to textbooks and football fields.

Even though I can make my own budgets, I always ask for less money than we need so that you have to be more creative, you have to strip it down.

Mathematically, it starts getting difficult with budgets beyond $100 million to recoup money on a movie with major first-dollar gross participants. First-dollar gross is fine if a movie is successful, but if it's not, participants will continue earning fees which only pushes the studio into further losses.

We are just trying to plan ahead because it's getting older.

We don't want to be left without anything for the children because we know it's just a matter of time when the town tells us we are no longer in compliance with safety codes.

I think some people are going to look at this after it's done and wonder where all of the money went. A lot of this work you're just not going to see. We have a 1960s structure with old electrical lines, practically no ventilation, and all of that will be changed.
