Habitat for Humanity International has launched a three-phase recovery program called Operation Home Delivery. The first phase is to assist the local affiliates most affected by Katrina to get back into business so that they themselves can be of service to people who are in the greatest need for housing. Those affiliates are located in New Orleans, Covington, Slidell, Bogalusa, and Hammond, as well as all those affiliates in Mississippi and Alabama that had severe damage.
