[But] we need today divine composers, ... We need today someone who can write the score to unite the human family so we can be beautiful as the music that we hear instead of like the ugliness in the world.

Let's go get a family and bring them home,

Never exalt people because they're in your family; never exalt people because they're your color; never exalt people because they're your kinfolk. Exalt them because they're worthy.

I am hoping that in this year of the family we will go into our families and reconcile differences.

Education today is not what it was, and they're asking you to pay for this, ... Now, college professors, please don't be angry with me, because it's true that education cultivates the human being within and education brings it out to the glory of God.

Because wherever I am today, I still owe it to God and I owe it to two men - the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Malcolm X and of course, two very special women, my mother and my wife.
