Candy had some nice placement. She was putting some stuff on the ball. She was hitting top spin, she was hitting slice. She was putting it all together.

The hits are nice, but the important thing for me is I was hitting the ball hard, ... I had a rough night and I had to correct  things.

If I'm in the middle of hitting a most fantastic cross court back hand top spin and someone says 'Can you stop now and have sex' I'll say: 'No thanks!'

I know right now Courtney is frustrated. I will say flat out I thought Courtney was the better player. Courtney needs to work on better shot selection. Next year at this time when Courtney plays that chick it will be 6-0, 6-0.

I came down to see Courtney and she was up 5-0 in the second set. You can't ask anything more of your girls than that.

We've talked about it in the past. We've had some girls who are up 6-0 and then the next thing you know it's 7-5. Now they're starting to really put it together.
