Casey is one of those guys that has a lot of ability but has been struggling. He probably came into this game hitting .200. He put that ball in play against one of the best pitchers in this league, and that was the play of the game.

She's a lefty, and that takes other teams a while to figure out. She's a good shooter with great ability around the basket, and she knows how to grab a rebound. This year we're also going to have to count on her stepping out for us more.

(Honey) wasn't spectacular, but he earned his first varsity win.

Psychologically, to go out for the top of the third inning with a seven-run lead and having Mike Peck on the mound, that was huge.

That first win against Kelso was a huge confidence builder. To win in that stadium against that program, a program we have a ton of respect for, it got us going all season long.

He definitely announced their return to dominance. He's their guy and he showed why. We didn't play poorly, we just got beat.
