Certainly he's determined to prove a point. He went through a bit of frustration at the decision from down south. But he's at peace with that now and sometimes a new challenge is just what a player needs.

There is a real focus on how to break through a lot of this frustration that people talk about. This should be fun. We should all be having a wonderful time re-creating our public realm.

the patriotic or religious bumper stickers always seem to be on the biggest, most disgustingly selfish vehicles driven by the ugliest, most inconsiderate and aggressive drivers, who are usually talking on cell phones as they cut people off in order to get just twenty stupid feet ahead in the traffic jam...

This was a tough decision, but it was driven by our need for higher temperatures. This is not a cost-cutting measure.

It's really been marvelous to watch the subtle organic transition. It's an aesthetic decision... And in the end, what matters most to the cinemagoer is not what technology is used, but have I been told a good story.

We took a very conscious decision to lower our margins ... but the result has been, of course, we have sold very much higher volumes.
