Chris didn't have his best stuff but he really battled out there. We had some big defensive players and had some kids battle at the plate.

It was not our best effort but it was good enough. Andrews will be much tougher (today).

We toughened our schedule up to be better prepared for the district run and it so happened that the kids responded to the challenge.

(Thompson) is a sophomore who's been pretty dominant in every game and he's really going to be good the next couple of years. That'll make you struggle offensively. Our kids were a lot more disciplined at the plate as the game went on.

These young men have just really responded well to just about every test they've had. They are playing with a tremendous amount of confidence.

To me, it's a very traditional course. A lot of courses being built these days are very long. Our course is not tricked up. It very out in front of you and very playable. That's why we have so many guests and members playing it. It's not too difficult, but it's still challenging.
