Coach Carey saw me play for the first time at the state tournament and someone told my dad that he said he was impressed with my play. I also found out there was a scholarship open.

Coach Carey really has the program going in the right direction and has done well in the past few seasons. I'm looking forward to being apart of that success. I'm also very excited to be from West Virginia and play for the state's flagship institution. It should be a great experience for me.

I don't know. I mean I am going to have to work hard no matter what and earn everything I get.

It will be awesome. I think it will be a good thing for the state.

They were cool about it. I think it was the athletic director.

The release form had to go to Coach (Mike) Carey and then he called my dad.
