Computers are sophisticated. In order for me to keep up with what my kids are doing I have to be a little more sophisticated than them, and this gives me a chance to do it.

The kids eat it up. It's still a treat, but it's healthier.

We have backed off the big push to get computers in primary grades, ... We do have things where kids use technology before they leave fifth grade. But previous studies of the introduction of technology at other schools haven't shown a huge value in learning as a result. When we put something in the classroom, it absolutely has to further what kids need to know. I just don't want to go off in a tangent in one direction without being completely clear that it will pay off for all the kids.

The original order was a clear violation of the First Amendment and should have never been signed by a judge. We're glad that we were able to correct this constitutional transgression without a more involved legal battle.

In order to make that park viable, access in and out has to be easy.

Despite what Mr. Mattingly might say, the temporary restraining order did raise serious constitutional issues about government attempting to muzzle the press. It was a mistake from the beginning that has now been resolved.
