Confidence is everything. We've got a lot of young kids playing for us this year, so it's important to get off to a good start.

We preach about turnovers and takeaways, and our kids are doing a great job with that so far.

We knew how much speed (Monroe) has, so for us, that's great ... it's something you certainly don't design.

For one, it took their crowd out of it some and, two, it gave us a tremendous amount of confidence. Our confidence was a little shaky from (Washington) whipping us on our court.

This was a big confidence booster for us tonight. This showed our kids that we can get over the hump if we stay focused. Last year, we'd get in these situations and let the game slip away. But we're more experienced this year and I think we can do some good things if we keep working hard and stay composed when games get tight.

It didn't swell up overnight like they say an ACL does, but we are hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. He just got accepted to The Citadel and he's got a lot going for him right now, so I really hope everything works out OK because Clay is really our leader on the field.
