Could you imagine anyone considering to bring a business into Carnegie? Or buying a home in Carnegie with all of the gloom and doom portrayed by our local newspaper?

There are large groups of residents that think differently and are there to help us out. And we are proud to live and work in this town. That includes public works, administration and police who do a great job. It's time for you to come, step up, be heard and try to help our town.

I also can't help but feel for our employees. I've never seen the morale so low with our borough people. And these people are great people.

We will work diligently to get it. We will see what they can do.

Most home-based business owners already qualify for the standard home office [tax] deduction. This new tax break is really going to impact the professionals who meet clients outside their home, but aren't able to do administrative work, such as billing and scheduling, elsewhere.
