Current business conditions continue to be very poor.

We're expanding our total available markets dramatically and we're now able to offer customers at the high end of the network all the chips that they need to be able to put together a system from fiber-optic cable connecting into a router or a switch.

New order activity has remained weak throughout the quarter and our overall backlog has declined. The magnitude of this downturn is greater than we, or our customers anticipated, and the progress in reducing excess inventory in the channel appears to be slower than they originally thought.

The roof was leaking and half of the lights were turned off. Because the business was poor, the owner didn't want to spend more money on it.

We deserved what we got. Our passing was poor, our marking was not good.
