Cutting edge, breakthrough, television. That's what we want to do.

It's funny, like 15 years ago when I was a kid doing all the John Hughes movies, I remember Bruce Willis was the only guy who was transitioning from television into film.

The fact is that daytime television is less valued than nighttime, and it's partly because of the product that we produce. We do a one-hour show in 12 hours. Nighttime produces a one-hour show in seven to nine days.

'The Wire,' 'Boomtown,' 'CSI Miami.' There's a lot of great shows. We are in the golden era of television, we hoped for the best, and we got in. With 'The Sopranos' being in there, and [we] being in that company, is a tremendous honor in itself. We just have to keep our fingers crossed, and hope that the gods are aligned that night.

All indications are that things are looking better than what you see on television.

I also think it shows that the left is monitoring television in the way that the right and the Media Research Council has been doing for quite some time. I think that's what got this story out there.
