Cycle Country continues to move forward in its goal of becoming less seasonal with projected growth in three of its four divisions of between 37% (plastic wheel covers) to more than 1,300% (Weekend Warrior).

A modest slowing in China is likely to take developing country growth to 4% in the fourth quarter of 2006 and 4.2% in the first half of 2007. Growth is then projected to rebound to 4.5% in the second half of 2007 as the Chinese economy recovers.

Florida reported one of the top three growth rates in the country last year. Our membership went from 43,700 to 45,500.

Job growth in the remainder of the country appeared to be below trend in October. It is possible, of course, that employment growth for the nation could have been held down by indirect effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, for example, because of their impact on gas prices.

Hiring has not been quite as high as what we'd expect in November. Job growth has been consistent. It's continuing to grow. It's just not growing in huge numbers. Businesses don't always fill jobs immediately when their sales go up.

Everybody's got to have some growth. I remember Golden before everything, it was cool ? but I'm a history buff. You can still go down to the creek and imagine nobody's here.
