Dan is a young man who I feel has a very big up-side. He has great size and good hands. The thing I like most about Dan is that he loves basketball and wants to improve as a player.

I am very excited about the opportunity to become a head coach, and it's even more special to have this opportunity at my alma mater. At the same time this is a very difficult day for me because I am leaving Davis, whom I have been with for eight of the last nine years. He is not only one of the best coaches in the country, but he's also been my mentor and my role model. He is the reason I am the coach and the person I am today.

I'm very happy with Allen. He's hungry and wants direction in his career.

It's about relationships. You start in your backyard. At Middle we had 13 players from eight states. I have contacts to go outside Kentucky and sign good players.
