Danville came in with a ton of energy. But with the energy they came in with, our kids seemed to ... match it.

Our kids were talking about defense at halftime. They really wanted to step it up.

We got a little passive in the fourth quarter with a 10-point lead. But as the quarter wore on we picked it up.

Obviously, 50 percent or more of their offense is Tony. We scouted the Lewisburg game last Saturday and they used a diamond-and-one defense and it worked pretty well. Levi and Ethan (Lee) had Tony most of the game and they did a great job. The other guys in the zone did a great job of doubling down and helping out those guys with him.

Nobody was more surprised than (assistant coach) Bob (Musser) and I.

We can enjoy this and celebrate, but we know they are a team that we will see in the District 4 playoffs. We can't forget that.
