Declaring independence was the most traumatic decision I had to live up to. Because I didn't want to do it.

His strengths, I think, begin with his independence. He's independent of everything and of everybody. And sometimes he's independent of his own brain. His mouth is independent of his brain. But I think the fact that he's willing to take on the establishment, however he defines it on a given day. Republicans, Democrats, you know people in power. He has tapped into a dissatisfaction with the accepted order.

This was a tough decision, but it was driven by our need for higher temperatures. This is not a cost-cutting measure.

It's really been marvelous to watch the subtle organic transition. It's an aesthetic decision... And in the end, what matters most to the cinemagoer is not what technology is used, but have I been told a good story.

We took a very conscious decision to lower our margins ... but the result has been, of course, we have sold very much higher volumes.
