Defensively, we didn't play as well as we'd like to. But we were faced with an outstanding Michigan State offensive football team that everyone in the Big Ten will have fits with also.

She's been sick for a week, but to her credit, she's been able to play through it. We always want to be a balanced scoring team. Jenna and Allie (Quigley) have done a great job all season in stepping up when we need them.

You couldn't have drawn it up any better. From the first play of the game to the last play of the game was total domination. Striped socks, that has to be the highlight.

They were a fast team. You couldn't take a play off against them. If they ever get it kicking, they're gonna be hard to stop.

We're just a play or two from being 2-1 or even 3-0. We just have to make plays, to finish off drives. But at some point, you have to make the big plays. You sometimes wonder if you're going to get over that hump.

We have to be able to do this everyday, because we play in a very tough conference. We were patient at the plate, and we can talk about skills and technique all day, but picking the correct pitches to swing on is sometimes the most important thing.
