Delightful task! to rear the tender thought, to teach the young idea how to shoot

I took one look at him and I thought, 'Now, there's a young man who every mother on the jury will love,' ... Years later, that's proven to be true. ... He's a plain, honest person that juries instinctively trust - and actually, so do judges.

I wasn't too sure. I thought that I had done everything I could to put myself in that position, and I felt real positive going in.

Somehow that came out sounding better than we would have thought,

We watched them and thought our strengths matched up well with them. I was confident from the first point. They are an awesome team, but I never thought we would lose a game.

I never thought I would even be considered for such a prestigious award. It came as a complete surprise. I am absolutely thrilled.
