Democratic politicians, liberal activists and liberal news outlets routinely deploy incendiary rhetoric and wicked accusations to marginalize Republicans.

Liberals need to take the advice they routinely give to conservatives: that there are consequences to their divisive rhetoric, and that in their attempts to score political points, they are also inciting violence.

I'm sure there are some Republicans who'd prefer not to deal with it. Sometimes politicians like to slough off issues to Supreme Court, and criticize the court and not have to deal with it themselves.

If Republicans want to be seen as more compassionate, they should continue to stand proudly for the sanctify of life and marriage. And they should do so without apologizing.

When it comes to social issues, Republicans don't just need to be more empathetic. They also need to be more emphatic in explaining to voters what they believe, and why.

You can't beat somebody with nobody. And that's the best news the Republicans have got.
