Dick is a wonderful guy,

There's a big part of me that didn't want to be the guy to beat Dick Bennett in his last game. There's part of me that wanted him to go out a winner that he is. He's a tremendous man. He's done so much for college basketball, and every program he's been in, he's improved the program. However, it was important for us to get the win and move forward.

This foundational principle - that human beings derive their rights from God, rather than from the State, or any other source - is what made America different.

As we enter a new year, we are at a crossroad. One way is the timid status quo, with a budget that bridles our future. The other way is a courageous course that unbridles opportunity and prosperity. But to forge that path we must pass tax modernization.

I would like this to be a new day. I would hope now that we can focus on doing the people's business.
