Dinner was awesome. Mr. Rings can cook. And the kids did great serving.

Then kids wouldn't eat them anymore. We can't let the cat out of the bag (that they're healthy).

My daughter didn't like fruits before. But now she's more willing to try something new because the other kids try it — and they like it.

I'm going to do whatever it takes. I'm going to need it, because I have two other kids coming up to high school soon, and I'm going to need a way to pay for their education.

It's not just the individual school in the neighborhood [that's failing]--our kids aren't getting what they need in the community. When [they were in the local public school], there were security issues, overcrowding, lots of other stuff going on. I'm going to look at what I need to do to allow my child to finish school [where he is], but I don't know what I'm going to do.

That is what I'm looking forward to the most, practical learning. I want to be a registered nurse so getting to talk to people who already work in those jobs can really teach me what to expect when I get out in the real world.
