Dobbins can be much better than last year. At this time last year, we didn't know where Dobbins would play - whether it would be as a starter or a backup. We didn't desert him; we worked with him, and he ended up being defensive newcomer of year.

I am very excited about Saturday night. It's just an exciting time and you can feel it all over this campus. We have to make sure that they're ready and focused and anxious, but not too excited that we're making errors.

We have playmakers at wide receiver, we have a quarterback that knows how to win and can turn a bad play into a good one, and we have a tailback who already has done a lot of great things for us. We'd like to keep them going from where they ended last season.

We've got some major holes to fill, but we feel like we've got some good young players in development.

We'll do a lot of positive things in the future around these two guys.

It does not tarnish my feelings about this football team. I'm very proud of my players and coaches.
