Dave will return to Fairmont in a few weeks and we will select performers for next season.

The concerts are good for our community's culture. A woman who has moved here from another area, for example, was so pleased to find a community our size with as many cultural events as we have.

The Fairmont Concert Association is able to bring in big-name entertainment from across the United States and from other countries at a very reasonable cost. For an adult membership of $35, a person can watch nine concerts in Fairmont and Blue Earth. It's a good situation for both communities.

We haven't come up with an exact plan of where the money will be spent. We have to weigh our physical plant needs and our program needs.
