Don't tell anybody, but by Monday you could play in the snow in the mountains. We could see a foot, maybe more, places like Palomar Mountain. The higher elevations could get about three feet of snow by Sunday evening.

If the snow level drops, then it's staying up there in the mountains and not coming down in the rivers and melting the snow that's already there.

I can see the snow-capped mountains, see true native Eskimos, native Indians. And everybody is just warm and open-hearted. It's like everyone is trying so hard to help you, ... But the minute I can move back, I will. I lived my life there. New Orleans is home, and I'm going back home. But by the grace of God, I made it out.

This was the shortest route over the mountains and through the snow belt, ... It was an ideal route for the time. But it was not the easiest route.

It's very simple -- lots of snow in the mountains. The deeper the snow is in the mountains, the more inclined people are to (buy trees) in town.

Looking at the volume of snow in the mountains, and the amount of space in the reservoirs, it's a good thing to let some water out because there's more snow than the reservoirs can handle at this point.
