During the warmer seasons we have weekly Surf Clinics that members can either surf or choose to just hang out on the beach. On those days we also have surfboards for members who don't have boards to try out with instruction from our more experienced members.

I would like the UNCW Surf Club to be a place for all students no matter what ability to come together and enjoy the art and sport of surfing. I don't know if many students know that the Surf Club has its own surfboards for the students to us.

I ride all of my boards. Surfboards are made to surf, not to hang on the wall.

I see the Surf Club growing in size as well as being more active in community. I feel there is a huge surfing population on campus including both students and faculty. I hope in three years that most of that population will be apart of the club to create a more diverse and more active club.

Members know this is a very difficult moment -- if we don't hang together we fall apart.

I haven't been there [to Albuquerque] but I know it's going to be a little bit warmer.
